Transport Master Plan
01 — 4,500 villas · 30,500 residents

Al Haffar Development, Abu Dhabi

An Emirati residential community master plan carried through the ITC cycle to approval and handover.

A community-scale Transport Master Plan for an Emirati residential development of 4,500 villas. We built the land-use trip generation, set the internal road hierarchy and access strategy, tested the network against the modelled critical peak, and staged the infrastructure so each phase stands on its own — carried through the ITC review cycle to approval and handover, including submission drawings and the GIS package.

02 — 5,500 villas · 45,000 residents

Al Amrah Development, Al Ain

The largest community in our portfolio by population — a national housing development in Al Ain.

A national housing development where the network had to hold for 45,000 residents at full build-out. The study set the road hierarchy and access points, distributed the critical peak-hour demand across them, and confirmed the external junctions could absorb the loading with the mitigation proposed. Approved by ITC.

Qasr Al Jurf Development, Abu Dhabi

A coastal mixed-use destination master plan, completed and closed out.

A mixed-use coastal destination taken from methodology through strategic modelling to a completed study. Access strategy, internal circulation and phasing were resolved against the 2030 and 2040 horizons. The project is now our reference set for report structure and figure standards.

Transport Impact Study
04 — 3,181 students · 641 parking spaces

Khalifa University Student Accommodation — Main Campus, Abu Dhabi

Student accommodation on an operating campus, where the peak is arrival and departure rather than commuting.

A Transport Impact Study for student accommodation on the main campus. Trip generation was built for the residential-institutional mix, the campus access points were tested for arrival and departure peaks, and parking was sized to the current Abu Dhabi rates alongside internal circulation and drop-off provision.

05 — 2,500 students · 1,235 parking spaces

Khalifa University Student Accommodation — Sas Al Nakhl Campus, Abu Dhabi

The larger of the two campus accommodation studies, with a parking supply above 1,200 spaces.

A companion study at a larger parking scale. The assessment covered access capacity, internal circulation, bus and drop-off provision, and parking demand against ITC rates, with mitigation where the modelled peak exceeded the existing access arrangement.

Transport Impact Study
06 — 2,600 students · 300 parking spaces

British Muna Academy, Abu Dhabi

A school study where the whole design question is the drop-off surge.

Schools live or die on the peak drop-off. The study modelled staggered arrival and pick-up, sized on-site queuing and stacking so it does not spill onto the public road, and set the pedestrian and crossing strategy around the site — coordinated with the education authority requirements.

07 — 35 km · 7 free-flow interchanges

Al Ain–Dubai Road (Northern Ring Road) Extension, Al Ain

A corridor extension at emirate scale — the largest single alignment we have assessed.

An extension of the Al Ain–Dubai Road comprising 35 kilometres of new alignment and seven free-flow interchanges. The work covered how the corridor redistributes traffic across the wider network, interchange spacing and form, and the staging of delivery.

Tadweer Waste-to-Energy Facility Access, Abu Dhabi

Alternative access routes for a major waste-to-energy facility, from options study to detailed design.

Assessment and development of alternative access routes for the facility — short, medium and long-term options — followed by concept and detailed design of the intersections serving the site, sized for the heavy-vehicle profile the plant generates.

Grade-Separated Corridor Feasibility Study

A three-option grade separation study, compared in microsimulation.

A feasibility study comparing underpass, at-grade and overpass treatments for a constrained corridor. Each option was built in microsimulation so queueing, weaving and the transition back to the existing network could be compared on like-for-like measures rather than on capacity formulae alone.

Strategic modelling

Tilal Al Nabbagh National Housing Development, Al Ain

A national housing development assessed on the strategic model.

Trip generation and distribution for a large national housing development, assigned on the strategic model to establish external network loading and the mitigation required at the access junctions across the horizon years.

Wahat Yas Development, Abu Dhabi

A destination development on Yas Island, modelled across horizon years.

Land-use trip generation, distribution onto the surrounding network, and junction analysis at the access points, reported through the ITC model-report cycle.

HCT Campuses Parking Assessment, Sharjah

Our largest parking assessment, resolved with microsimulation of the internal circulation.

A parking assessment for the Higher Colleges of Technology campuses, sizing additional supply and testing internal circulation and gate capacity in microsimulation so the arrival peak clears without queueing back onto the public road. A companion study covered the Ras Al Khaimah campuses.

Road Safety Inspection of High-Risk Roads, Abu Dhabi

The first unified safety profile of the emirate’s highest-risk network.

Road safety inspection of 565.7 kilometres of high-risk roads across the emirate’s primary corridors and urban roads, delivered with an ITC-approved RSI sub-consultant. The work produced the first unified safety profile of the network’s highest-risk lengths and the prioritised treatment list that follows from it.

Vision Zero Strategy Support, Abu Dhabi

Managing a Vision Zero strategy and the design policy that has to follow it.

Support across the Vision Zero programme: management of the strategy, review of design policies against Safe System principles, establishing practices for maintaining KPIs and strategy targets, review of novice driver licensing policy, and road safety audits and inspections across the network.

Abu Dhabi Road User Behaviour Study, Integrated Transport Centre

Behavioural research for the authority, as sub-consultant to KEO.

A study of road user behaviour across Abu Dhabi for the Integrated Transport Centre, under the sub-consultancy of KEO, alongside a Transportation Safety Research and Analysis commission for the same client — evidence work that feeds the emirate’s safety strategy rather than a single development.
