AL BURJ Engineering Consultants has worked across the UAE since 1982, with hundreds of projects delivered firm-wide across engineering disciplines. This division carries the traffic and transport work — 371 studies on the ITC register — from single-plot impact studies to master plans spanning whole communities.
Being part of a broader engineering practice means a traffic study rarely sits in isolation. Access, parking, drainage constraints and building design get resolved alongside the transport case, not thrown over a wall. And because we work with ITC, RTA and ADM day in and day out, we structure a study for the reviewer from the first page — which is usually the difference between one review round and three.
Three things we don't compromise on.
01 Every figure verified
Numbers over adjectives. We keep a standards library and run internal review gates so that every rate, result and figure on a study can be traced and defended.
02 The reviewer's language
We work to the current guidelines — ADG-039-2024, the Trip Generation & Parking Rates Manual, Plan Capital 2040 — and design submissions the way the authority reads them.
03 Tools we build ourselves
Our engineers write their own analysis and reporting software. It keeps figures consistent, QC'd and fast — and lets us take on work that would otherwise need bought-in tooling.
Transport planners, modellers, CAD & GIS.
A focused team that covers the whole study chain — so the modeller, the junction engineer and the person drawing the submission are working from the same numbers.
We invest in our own engineering software.
The division builds and maintains its own suite of QGIS and analysis tools — model reporting, junction analysis, trip distribution and trip-generation engines. It's a deliberate investment: consistent, auditable figures, faster turnarounds, and capabilities that keep the team ahead of a brief.
This tooling and automation system was conceived and built in-house by our team head.
